WINDOWS CD-ROM BASEBALL - VERSION 7.01 PATCH

This patch updates Version 7.0 to Version 7.01b. Please be careful to follow the instructions
exactly, especially step number one in the "INSTALLING THE PATCH" section below.

DESCRIPTION
This patch fixes the following problems and adds the following features:

• Added Sorting capability to some screens – example: on Team statistics click
  on the column headings.
• Fixed bug where actual team code was being displayed instead of current
  draft-league team code.
• Fixed links from leaders so they reflect the total of traded player stats
  when clicked.
• Added Upload button.

Report Manager:

• Added HUNDREDS of new categories to the reporting system for batters,
  pitchers and teams!
• Added support to show League Leaders in bold.
• Added capability for appending a Totals and/or Averages line to the bottom
  of reports.
• Fixed bug where actual team code was being displayed instead of current
  draft-league team code.

Netplay:

• Fixed Netplay so that the proper team gets prompted with the question when
  an intentional walk is to be issued.
• Fixed a bug in Netplay that was allowing relievers to be brought in when the
  pitcher already in the game is forced to pitch by Major League rules.
• Fixed injury bug where wrong player was listed as being injured.

Other:

• Added code to try and circumvent “XVT” errors that occur on some systems.
• Added fix to prevent problems with copy protection that were caused by
  Daylight Savings Time on NTFS systems.
• Fixed crash in Linescore report that occurred in rare instances.
• Fixed scoring bug that prevented a run from scoring with the at-the-wall
  feature under certain circumstances.
• Updated the “Record vs. Pace” homerun in the player notebook to 73
  reflecting Barry Bonds 2001 season.
• Fixed various play-by-play glitches.
• Fixed all-star voting -- pitchers would not get any votes in certain leagues.
• Fixed Super Hal bug where some relievers were not being shown in pecking orders.

INSTALLING THE PATCH
1. IMPORTANT: YOU MUST PERFORM THIS STEP BEFORE CONTINUING! Execute the CD-ROM Baseball program and access the "About..." menu item in the Help menu. If it says "v7.0" then continue on with these instructions. Otherwise you must install version 7.0 directly from the CD-ROM before continuing.
2. Close all programs including the CD-ROM Baseball game.
3. Execute the patch program. It will install the patch.
4. IMPORTANT: YOU MUST PERFORM THIS STEP TO VERIFY THAT THE PATCH HAS BEEN APPLIED! Execute the CD-ROM Baseball program and access the "About..." menu item in the Help menu. If it says "v7.01b" then the patch has been successfully applied. Otherwise re-apply this patch (starting at step 2 above) with the Subdirectories search switch set off (uncheck the box next to "Subdir Search" in the "Change Options" window just before you click "Yes" to apply the patch).
