2008 was quite a year for the Tampa Bay baseball franchise- a new name, new uniforms, new team colors – and their first playoff appearance ever. Their seven game ALCS against division rival Boston was unforgettable, with the Rays ultimately advancing to their first World Series title. Highlights from the series included a walk-off 9-8 win by Tampa in Game 2, an amazing 7-run comeback by Boston for an 8-7 walk-off win in Game 5 (second largest comeback in postseason history), and a dominant pitching performance by Matt Garza in Game 7.
