Strat-O-Matic Launches New League Registry Page


 
Dear Strat-O-Matic Community,
 
Strat-O-Matic is excited to announce some substantial upgrades to its “League Registry” Page, as well as the implementation of a new “League Finder” Page, both designed to help build and enhance the Strat-O-Matic community experience.
 
The new League Registry Page will allow any and all Strat-O-Matic leagues to officially register with the Strat-O-Matic website. Those who visit the League Registry Page will be able to view a list of Strat-O-Matic leagues throughout the country sorted by sport, league type and league option. For Windows Game leagues, there is also an option to specify whether or not the league uses Netplay. By allowing leagues to officially register on the site, the goal is to help Strat-O-Matic game players, both new and old, find leagues to join with much greater ease.
 
The League Registry Page will be heavily reliant on participation from the Strat-O-Matic community. To register your league with the Strat-O-Matic website, please send an email to corporateinfo@strat-o-matic.com with the following information:
 
  • League Name (specify which sport)
  • League Type (Board Game or Windows Game)
  • League Option (Current Stock, Current Draft or Retro. If Windows League, also indicate YES/NO to Netplay)
  • City/State your league is located in (for Board Game leagues only)
  • Number of teams in your league
  • Number of years your league has been in existence
  • League URL (if available)
  • League contact person
  • League email address
Also on the League Registry Page, you will find a blue “League Finder” button. The League Finder Page will look similar to the old League Registry Page in that it will allow Strat-O-Matic gamers to post their own ads to the SOM website. Gamers can post the following items: a request to join a league, an advertisement for an opening in their own league or an announcement about an upcoming Strat-O-Matic tournament.
 
Again, the success, efficiency and usefulness of the Strat-O-Matic League Registry Page is largely dependent on your participation, so if you are currently part of a league (even if you are not looking for new members), please register with us on the site!
