Baltimore’s Jud Wilson won the batting crown at .366 with 3 heavyweight names in close pursuit: St. Louis’ Mule Suttles (.363, 21 T), Detroit’s Turkey Stearnes (.359, 55 D), and Baltimore’s Heavy Johnson (.356). St. Louis’ Cool Papa Bell scored the most Runs (131, 50 D), but was runner-up, by 1, to Harrisburg’s Oscar Charleston’s 34 Steals. Suttles 33 HR was 8 more runner-up Stearnes; his 133 RBI 11 more; his 1.129 OPS .42 more.
