Glen Head, NY – November 2, 2017- Each year, Strat-O-Matic Media performs a World Series Simulation prior to Game 1 using the Company’s innovative Baseball Daily product.  Despite a back-and-forth series in which some of the best pitchers of their generation took a back seat to offense, largely powered by a record number of homers, Strat-O-Matic was able to correctly predict the outcome.  This includes the winner in 5 of the 7 games, with the Dodgers on top in a tough pitching matchup in Game 1, The Astros taking games 2 and 3, LA winning game 6 and the ‘Stros closing it out on the road in 7.

Strat-O-Matic was invented by 11-year-old Hal Richman in his bedroom in Great Neck, NY in 1948 as a result of his frustration with the statistical randomness of other baseball board games.
