First, Strat-O-Matic created the most authentic set of Negro Leagues all-stars ever. Those 105 players were rated on career stats, fine-tuned for their equivalency to Major League stats. Now, you can play with such authentic Negro League teams as the famed Homestead Grays (89-55), the St. Louis Elite Stars (85-59) and eight more Negro Leagues franchises, adjusted for a 144-game schedule and also adjusted for comparison to the big leagues.

This roster includes 17 members of the Baseball Hall of Fame: Cool Papa Bell, Ray Brown, Oscar Charleston, Andy Cooper, Martin Dihigo, Big Bill Foster, Josh Gibson, Judy Johnson, Pop Lloyd, Biz Mackey, Satchel Paige, Spoony Palm, Turkey Stearnes, Mule Suttles, Willie Wells, Smokey Joe Williams, Jud Wilson. And 41 more players who appear in the original SOM Negro Leagues set. This time they are rated to play in a segregated 10-team league, or integrated with any of the Major League seasons of 1929-33.

The Grays, here supplemented by a few players from the arch-rival Pittsburgh Crawfords, have such all-time greats as Satchel Paige (21 wins, 169 Ks) and Smokey Joe Williams (24 wins, 3.10 ERA) on the mound and a lineup with Josh Gibson (32 HR, .952 OPS), Jud Wilson (.366), Tubby Scales (.350) and Oscar Charleston.
