The 2025 version adds 54 new players to the set. What we’ve done is expand the size of the set to incorporate baseball talent from right across the history of Cuba as a baseball nation. That means heading back to the turn of the 20th century and ending up where we are today. What you get, in addition to what you had, are Cuban stars who played in the Negro League and Cuban stars who played and are playing in MLB. In other words, the very best of Cuba’s rich baseball history, 1900-2024.

Strat-O-Matic’s ground-breaking Negro League stars allowed gamers to play the ultimate what-if, against the Major League stars in Strat-O-Matic’s Hall of Fame and Baseball Heroes sets. Now you can add a second layer of integration, comparing the all-time greats from Cuban baseball. Like the aforementioned player sets, this one is calculated on each man’s best seven seasons.

The 133 players, with such legendary international stars as 3B Omar Linares, SS German Mesa, CF Victor Mesa, 1B Orestes Kindelan, SP Pedro Luis Lazo and current Cuban mega-star 3B Yulieski Gourriel, are assembled as six all-star teams representing different eras of Cuba’s annual sports extravaganza, Serie Nacional.          They are also rated to be played in the same eras of Major League play as they played in Cuba.
